Little ones can learn about the alphabet as they match letters with animals.

What You Need:

•construction paper
•markers, crayons, paints, etc.
•magazines (ZooBooks, National Geographic, etc.)

What You Do:

Teacher or parent writes a letter on a piece of paper. Children find animals from the magazine or draw pictures of animals whose names start with that letter. Older children can create a collage on paper while younger ones can simply call out the names.
