CRAZY HAIR

Objectives

A science lesson that introduces children to seed growth.

What You Need:

What You Do:

  1. Begin by having each child decorate the styrofoam cup with a funny face.

  2. Then let each child plant their own cup of grass seed and water well.

  3. Store inside the classroom on a window ledge or where space is available.

  4. Water as needed.

  5. Each day let the children check to see if any "hair" has grown!

  6. When the hair is long enough (over the top) let the child take his/her cup home to give it a haircut!!
