Teaching Tip
My 6th graders made papier mache canopic jars to use in their Egyptian museum this year.
We used plastic cups bought from the 99 cent store (5 for 99 cents!).
They used newspaper and cardboard to form the four heads of Horus' sons (the jackal, the baboon, the human, and the falcon).
They did the papier mache then painted them!
