Teaching Tip
I like to find paintings and sculptures of children from various periods of art history that my little ones can identify with.
Since our school district mascot is a pirate, I have them use paper towel roll "pirate spyglasses" to focus on details in the paintings, and share the special things they "spy" with the class.
