Teaching Tip
I like to teach young children chants and rhymes to help them remember the names of famous artists.
For example, I say silly things like:
"Whosseau?" and the kids shout back "Rousseau!"
or
"What did you say?" and they answer "Claude Monet!"
There's also "Who makes the dots?" and they say, "Seurat!"
They have a lot of fun with it and it' s amazing how these little chants stick with them over the years.
