Teaching Tip
I like to do a hands-on art project that somehow relates to the artist or period we are studying.
For example:
- A "Hall of Bulls" rendition in earth tones on crumpled paper to resemble a cave wall
- Egyptian symbols on a folded paper pyramid
- Paper sculpture made of Greek letters
I think they learn more if they are doing rather than just listening to me lecture about history.
