Teaching Tip
Make it fun.
I do a projects during the summer that really help kids get a grasp on Jackson Pollock.
We fill water guns with watered down washable paint and place papers around the playground for them to squirt.
The different color blends and movement of the paint gets them excited and having fun.
Another project is dropping paint filled balloons.
They love to see how far their paint will splatter and which makes the most intersting looks.
