I create a "Who is the Artist" bulletin board every two weeks. I always attempt to have a photo of the artist (in the center) - preferably a self-portrait. I then have a large variety of art work created by that artist posted on the bulletin board. I give the students the 1st week to look the bulletin board over and do a little research on their own. The next week, I reveal the artist's name (if no one knows) and I tell them about the artist. Those that do know are excited to tell everyone in the class what they have found out about the artist.
