What You Need:

• pinecones
• pipe cleaners
• glue

What You Do:

1. You can spray paint the pine cone or just leave it like it is.

2. Then take the pipe cleaners and put a little school glue on one end then stick that end into the pine cone . You might have to bend it a littie bit to get it to stand up .

3. Have the student or your kids attach eyes to the creature (like maybe----those little "googly" eyes that move all around.)

4. Then the students have have little spiders or other bugs - whatever they might think up. They could make up Christmas bugs, St. Patrick's Day bugs, Valentines Day bugs, Halloween bugs, etc....
