Co-Founder
Andrea Mulder-Slater is an artist, writer and teacher who has been teaching art for over twelve years. In addition to leading art and art history classes and workshops at the elementary, secondary and post-secondary levels, she was requested by a public art gallery to develop an innovative outreach program designed to bring art and artists into the classroom. Recently, Mulder-Slater worked as a writer, editor and educational consultant on the art and art history cdrom, Jumpstart Artist by Knowledge Adventure. In addition to KinderArt, Andrea is an artist at Jarea Art Studio. Andrea is a proud member of the Canadian Society for Education through Art (CSEA) and the Association for Art History (AAH).

Co-Founder
Jantje Blokhuis-Mulder has been making and creating art for nearly 50 years. Her work reflects her seaside surroundings and her colourful gameboards, collages, paintings, woodburnings and sculptures can be found in collections around the world. In addition to making art, Jantje writes for magazines such as Senior Living, The Outsider and Folk Art Life. She also has many years experience working with children at the Pre-K level as well as those with special needs. Jantje writes about Folk Art, and is an artist at Jarea Art Studio.

Illustrator
Geoff Slater is an accomplished Canadian artist. In addition to working with at-risk youth (replacing ritalin with paintbrushes), Geoff creates many of the wonderful illustrations and black line coloring pages you see within the KinderArt pages.
