KinderArt® Recipe: Non-Edible

STAINED GLASS

Submitted by: Tristie88@aol.com

Ingredients:

  • Wax Paper
  • Cheese grater or pencil sharpener
  • Assorted crayons
  • Iron
  • Piece of cloth
  • Construction paper
  • Glue
Put down a piece of wax paper, and grate or sharpen the crayons onto the wax paper. Continue until you have a nice pattern that you like. Put another piece of wax paper over the top of the crayon shavings, then cover with a cloth and iron gently until the crayon shavings melt. Then use construction paper to make a frame. Cut the wax paper to fit the frame, glue them together, and you have your very own stained glass to hang in your window! (My girls like to decorate the frames with feathers and pieces of colored yarn and sequins.)
