Activity Summary:
Preshoolers can make "tie dye" decorations using markers and coffee filters.
What You Need:
•coffee filters
•bright colored markers (water soluble)
•water
What You Do:
- Straighten coffee filter as much as possible
- Color everywhere with colored markers
- Wet with cold water and squeeze (adult assistance might be required here)
- Straighten filter again and dampen with a paper towel
TIPS:
Use gloves when wetting and squeezing colored coffee filter, without gloves you could end up with multi-colored fingers!
