What You Need:
Shaving Foam
Dry Tempera Paints (red, yellow, blue)
* Please use EXTREME caution when working with powdered paint. Young children should be monitored at all times and if possible, paper masks should be used to prevent inhalation of the powder.
Containers (Margerine or yogurt)
Plastic spoons
What You Do:
Put tempera in 3 different containers. Include a spoon in each container.
Put a pile of shaving foam on the table and let the children put their own color on top of the foam.
Allow the children to play with the foam using their hands. They will start to see color mixing at work as they explore the texture of the shaving foam.
