PICNIC DRESS UP [From: Imagination/Play]

2-5 years

Activity Summary:

Little ones can go on a picnic as they play dress up.

What You Need:

•Old clothes from mom, dad, grandma or grandpa that no one wears anymore. They could be sweaters, hats, scarves, gloves, etc.
•Popcorn
•Milk
•A thermos or pop bottle
•Plastic cups
•A picnic basket or a "pretend" picnic basket (a cardboard box or a fruit basket)
•A blanket

What You Do:

  • Make popcorn and put it into a bag or container.

  • Put milk into a thermos.

  • Pack a picnic basket.

  • Go on a picnic in the front yard, on the kitchen floor or the back porch.

  • Lay out the blanket and feast on popcorn and milk.
