WHAT YOU DO:

• Have children sort the rocks and buttons into sizes, shapes and colors.
• The children can use an egg carton each to sort.
• Next, the children can give each of the rocks a name or they can decide if the rocks or buttons are animals or creatures.
• Kinder artists can then paint the rocks or buttons or use a magic marker to give them color.
• If you are feeling adventurous, bring out the glue and let your children glue rocks and buttons together to make creatures.
