Activity Summary:
Preschoolers will learn about traffic lights as they sort cereal and make pictures.
What You Need:
•Box of Fruit Loops®
•Black construction paper
•Small baggies
•Glue
What You Do:
- Have children sort the red, yellow and green Fruit Loops® into baggies.
- Crush them with fists or small hammers from workshop center or playdoh® toys.
- On pre-drawn circles (made with chalk), representing the 3 lights on a traffic light, have the children glue on the appropriately colored fruit loops in the appropriate circles.
- The bonus is eating the orange, purple and blue fruit loops that are left over!
