SAND NAMES

Objectives:
Children will learn about letters and words in a fun way.
What You Do:
- sand
- construction paper
- glue
- powdered tempera paint
- containers for sand
- popsicle sticks for the glue
What You Do
- Adults, on a piece of construction paper in block letters write the child's name
- Then have them place glue in the letters and put different colors of sand on the glue
- You can color the sand by adding powdered tempera paint to the sand. See PAINTED SAND for more information.
