What You Need:

• small plastic pop bottles
• baby oil
• water
• glitter, beads, confetti, etc.
• funnels
• pitchers with water

What You Do:

1. Have parents donate plastic pop bottles.
2. Clean bottles out, having enough for each child to have one.
3. Using funnels, children fill bottles with various colors of glitter, beads, confetti or anything that looks interesting to the child.
4. Children then pour water into the bottle, about 1/4 of the way and the teacher adds an ounce or two of the baby oil.
5. Seal the top and watch the children manipulate the bottle to create all kinds of wonderful floating pictures!
