Activity Summary:
Little ones will have fun with this matching game.
What You Need:
•Paper
•Pencils or markers
•Scissors
•Old magazines or photgraphs
•A photocopier (if you have access to one)
What You Do:
- ADULT: The idea here is to either draw or find in a magazine 10 pictures of the same thing. You can also find one of something and photocopy it 10 times.
Some ideas:
- 10 ducks
- 10 cats
- 10 balls
- 10 houses
- 10 shoes
- 10 cars
- 10 spoons
- 10 cups
- 10 boys
- 10 girls
- Once you have all of the cutouts, drawn, cut out of a magazine or photocopied, mix them all together and set them on the floor.
- Let the children find matches of 2.
- When one match is found, another can be made.
- For fewer children, use fewer cut-outs
