What You Do:Craft: Valentine's Mail boxesSimply have the children decorate their paper bags and tie on a string handle. You can have them put cards in each other's bags afterwards. (easy but fun!)Game: Cupid's ArrowCupid has lost his arrows!There can be no Valentine's Day without Cupid's arrows! Tell the children that they are going to help save valentine's day! Hide cupid's arrows (attach 2 paper hearts to a straw for arrow cover juice can with pretty paper for the arrow quiver) around the room and have each child find one. When they have found one hidden under a chair or behind a book have them come put it in the quiver. When all arrows are found have the children hand out treats or exchange valentines cards. Variation:Hide one golden arrow in the room. The child who finds this arrow gets to play Cupid! He/She gets to hand out the Valentine's treats or cards !Song to Sing:(perhaps while arrow hunt is going on)"Who Could it Be?" I had a little valentine sent to me. From someone.... Who could it be? Sung to tune of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" Game: Cupid's Arrow (2)Make a cut out of cupid to display.Play "Stick the Arrow" like pin the tail on the Donkey.
