Fingerprint Chicks

Objectives:

Students will use their fingers to create images.

What You Need:

  • Yellow tempera paint
  • Wash tubs
  • Large construction paper
  • Glue

What You Do:

  1. Each student chooses a piece of construction paper for the background.

  2. Have students come up one at a time, to gently dip their fingers in the yellow tempera paint.

  3. Each will place a finger on their paper, making one or more fingerprints.

  4. Kids can then decorate their fingerprints to look like a new spring chick.
