Fingerprint Chicks

Objectives:
Students will use their fingers to create images.
What You Need:
- Yellow tempera paint
- Wash tubs
- Large construction paper
- Glue
What You Do:
- Each student chooses a piece of construction paper for the background.
- Have students come up one at a time, to gently dip their fingers in the yellow tempera paint.
- Each will place a finger on their paper, making one or more fingerprints.
- Kids can then decorate their fingerprints to look like a new spring chick.
