SPOOKY WORDS
Subject: Seasonal Crafts
Grade: K-2
Age: 4-8
What You Need:
- thin coffee straws
- large piece of white construction paper
- black paint
- orange paint
- eyedropper or spoon
What You Do:
- In a paper bowl, mix black paint with water until it is thin, but not to thin.
- With a spoon or eyedropper, drip about 7 drops of the black paint on the bottom of the white construction paper, but leave an inch of space from the very edge of the bottom of the paper.
- With the straw, blow the paint towards the top of the paper in different directions.
- It will make a spooky looking tree.
- You can make more trees on the paper to make spooky woods.
- With the orange paint, not diluted, paint circular shapes (pumpkins) in the branches of the trees.
- You can add faces to them with a marker after they are dry.
- Let it dry and put it in the window for everyone to see!
