Writer's Guidelines
SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES AND CONDITIONS

We accept submissions for the following departments:

  • KinderArt Lessons: Lesson plans or craft recipes.
  • KinderArt Littles Lessons: Lesson plans, craft recipes or tips.
  • ArtSpeak Art Education articles, opinions and ideas.
  • The KinderArt Fridge: Children's artwork.

    Copyright:

    The author hereby grants to KinderArt, the right to publish and re-publish the submitted material, in whole or in part, in any form of media now known or hereafter developed, and to also use it for promotional purposes at Kinderart's discretion.

    The rights herein granted include the right to edit, revise, abridge and/or condense the material, to reprint the material in a "Best Of KinderArt" book or similar, to change the title thereof, and/or to use author's name and biography in connection with the publication of the material in any form KinderArt may determine.

    All rights to the published photographs and/or artwork provided by author remain the publisher's property. The publisher specifically reserves the right to use the photographs and/or artwork for extraneous uses, including but not limited to promotions/advertisements, calendars, posters, newsletters, and advertising promotions.

    Author warrants that he/she is the sole author and owner of the material, that it does not infringe any existing copyright, that it contains no libelous or unlawful matter and that the author has full power to grant the rights granted hereby.

    KinderArt agrees that author may republish the material in the author's own books if the credit "Reprinted courtesy of KinderArt, www.kinderart.com" is present. Any other requests for reprinting/republishing the material must be submitted to KinderArt.

    The Rules:

    We encourage you to provide a brief biography with your submission.

    By submitting a lesson plan or article to KinderArt and/or KinderArt Littles, you grant us permission to publish and edit your submission for length and clarity as required.

    By submitting a lesson plan to KinderArt, you understand that your lesson plan may be printed and used as outlined in our terms and conditions of use.

    "No material from KINDERART.COM may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any way, except that you may download and/or print one copy of the materials on any single computer for your personal, non-commercial home or classroom use only, provided you keep intact all copyright and other proprietary notices. "

    By submitting your lesson plan, tips or articles, you maintain that you are the author or creator of the submission, or that you are submitting the lesson plan, tips or articles with the permission of the author or creator who has agreed to these terms and conditions.
